Family & Co. Jewelers
Family & Co. Jewelers began in 1937, when Italian immigrants Angelo and Louise Calapristi opened Angelo's Jewelry & Watches in South Philadelphia. The family moved the business to Marlton and opened its doors there on September 3, 1971 — a date chosen because it was the birthday of second-generation owner Christine Breaux, whose husband Edwin came into the jewelry business after 26 years as a Marine. More than 50 years later, they're still in that same exact spot, with third, fourth, and now fifth generation family members working the floor.
For engaged couples, this is one of South Jersey's deepest bridal benches. The store carries thousands of AGA, GIA, and EGL certified diamonds and stocks leading bridal designers including Verragio, Scott Kay, Simon G, Zeghani, Sylvie, Beverly K, Lashbrook, Artcarved, and Benchmark — work that's earned them SJ Magazine's Best Bridal Store honors. Third-generation owner Angelo Breaux Sr. leads alongside his children Jessica, a Graduate Gemologist, and Angelo Jr., a jewelry designer, so custom design, remounts, and repairs happen with family expertise in-house.
Whether you're picking a setting, matching bands, or a groom's watch, Family & Co. brings nearly nine decades of doing this for South Jersey couples — many of them the grandchildren of their original customers.
