Month after month, our team receives and showcases stunning weddings from across the region, all courtesy of incredibly talented vendors and wonderful couples who share their special day with us. Each month, our editorial team selects one standout celebration to highlight—one that captures both beauty and meaning in a truly unforgettable way.
For this feature, we’re highlighting a warm, intimate wedding filled with personal touches, teamwork, and quiet moments of connection. Ryan Johnson and Lauren Johnson celebrated their love with a beautiful ceremony and reception at The Grove in Pittsgrove, New Jersey.
Their Journey Together
Ryan and Lauren’s wedding marked the joyful start of their married life after building a strong foundation together. They chose The Grove as the perfect setting for both their ceremony and reception—a place that allowed them to focus on what mattered most: family, friends, and each other. Their day reflected a shared appreciation for meaningful details, good music, and the simple joy of being surrounded by loved ones.
The Wedding Day
The ceremony was elevated by the elegant strings of Ceremonious Strings, setting a romantic tone as Ryan and Lauren exchanged vows with Officiant Ryan Winstel. Floral designs by Pocket Full of Posies brought natural beauty and softness to the space, complemented by thoughtful decor and rentals from the same talented team.
After the ceremony, the couple stole a few quiet minutes alone together—arguably their favorite moment of the day. With the music and celebration continuing in the background, they took a breath as husband and wife, laughing about how quickly the day was flying by and soaking in the reality of their new chapter.
The celebration continued seamlessly at The Grove with catering, cake, and sweets all handled beautifully by the venue’s team. The Heartbeats Band kept the energy high during the reception, filling the space with live music and dance-floor moments. Lauren wore a gown from Freed Love Bridal, while Ryan was sharp in attire from Dress 2 Impress. Hair and makeup for the bride and wedding party were flawlessly done by Airbrush Artistry & Hair Design.
Personal touches made the day even more special: custom rings, heirloom fine jewelry, stationery and signage from Empress Stationery and Etsy, favors from Johnson’s Popcorn, and transportation by Joe’s Limo. A photo booth by Clique Booth captured candid guest moments, and the entire event was beautifully documented by Courtney Simpson Photography.
A Lesson in Love
When asked what they learned from planning their wedding, Ryan and Lauren shared a simple but powerful truth: “Teamwork makes the dream work!” Their day came together thanks to a dedicated group of vendors who truly invested in their vision. Courtney Simpson of Courtney Simpson Photography stood out as not only a talented photographer but also a great friend throughout the planning process.
Ryan & Lauren’s Favorite Wedding Day Memory
“One of my favorite moments from our wedding day was right after the ceremony. We managed to sneak away for a few quiet minutes, just the two of us. The music and clapping were still going on in the background, but everything felt a little calmer once it was just us. We stood there, finally husband and wife, taking it all in. No big speeches, no photos, just a quick breather together. We talked a little, laughed about how the day was flying by, and soaked in the fact that we had actually done it. It wasn’t a long moment, but it was really special. It reminded me what the whole day was about: us starting our life together.” — Ryan & Lauren Johnson
Ryan and Lauren’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that the most meaningful celebrations are built on love, teamwork, and those quiet moments that ground everything in what truly matters. A perfect start to their forever.
